What makes a Sunday better and brighter? Freshly baked brownies! It is not only the taste but also the smell they distribute in the entire house!
For about 12 brownies you need:
- 150g spelt flour
- 150g xylitol (I used Xucker, but you can you the same amount of sugar instead)
- 50g cocoa powder
- 1tsp ground vanilla extract
- 1 pinch of salt
- 150ml almond milk
- 150ml liquid coconut oil
- 1tbs agave nectar
For the optional icing you need:
- 100ml liquid coconut oil
- 2tbs agave sweet
- 1tsp ground cinnamon
- 1tbs cocoa powder
Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
In a middle-sized bowl mix flour, xylitol, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
Whip up almond milk, agave nectar and coconut oil in a large bowl and quickly stir in the flour mix. Pour into a casserole covered with a baking sheet and smooth out to the desired thickness.
Bake for about 30 minutes, let cool down before covering with icing.
For the icing mix all the ingredients together and spread over the brownies before cutting.
One brownie has about the following nutritional values: 302kcal, 22g fat, 15g carbohydrates, 5g sugar, 2,8g protein and 0.8g fiber.
